Work environment, missions and activities
The position is open to actively contribute to the implementation of the European Project TIPPING, “Dynamic climate-agriculture intelligence for adaptive EU land management and cropping systems”, and more specifically to participate in the activities of the work package 1 of this project, “TIPPING framework for agri-climate impacts.”
The project started the 1st of September for a 3-year period. The position is open as soon as possible, at first up to September 2027, with possibility of extension.
The position will contribute to the following project activities: stakeholder mapping, questionnaires and interviews management, workshops’ organization, and contribution to project meetings and deliverables.
Excellent organisational skills, especially for managing meetings, schedules, follow-ups, and project activities.
Responsible, reliable, and independent with team spirit. Able to work independently after receiving instructions and complete tasks on time.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable communicating with researchers, project partners, and stakeholders.
Basic research skills: literature review, document preparation, information organisation, and data handling.
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in an agricultural, environmental, climate, or research project or a EU Horizon Europe project.
Experience with stakeholder engagement, co-design participatory activities, surveys, interviews, or workshops organisation.
Familiarity with GDPR, research ethics, consent form, and confidential data handling.
Knowledge of digital agriculture or Decision Support Systems.
Experience with GIS/QGIS/ArcGIS.
Basic skills in data analysis, such as advanced Excel, R, Python, or Power BI.
The candidate needs to legally reside in Europe or to be able to come to France without the need to obtain an entry visa before arrival. Candidates already located in France are welcome. Ability to speak French. Good written and fluent spoken English. Able to attend regular meetings, take clear notes, identify action points, and report back accurately
The candidate should also be open to travel all over Europe, when required by the project activities.
Training and skills
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Geography, Rural Development, Natural Resources, or another relevant field.
Master’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Geography, Rural Development, Natural Resources, or another relevant field.
