Remuneration of tenured staff

If you join the INRAE after passing a competitive exam, your remuneration is determined based on the regulatory framework for tenured staff. It includes index-linked base pay, determined according to your corps, grade and echelon. Added to that is a research bonus or allowances comprising a base amount that may be adjusted for performing certain duties related to expertise or management.
